NAOWA president commissions 5 A-side football pitch in Abuja
The president of the Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association (NAOWA) commissioned a newly constructed 5 A-side football pitch at its college in Abuja on Saturday.

Mrs Yahaya stated that the commissioning of the football pitch is in continuation of her efforts at standardizing NAOWA schools by providing all the requirements needed of a modern day learning Institution.
she also used the medium to introduce the School Policy Handbook for NAOWA Schools Nationwide, which is aimed at providing guidelines for students, teachers, and parents as well as other regulations that will provide uniformity in all NAOWA Schools.
Mrs Salamatu Yahaya appreciated the Parents Teachers Association for their continuous support and cooperation in the educational development of the student’s.
Highpoints of the commissioning ceremony include novelty football matches between the teachers and parents, also between students in the school. Others include cultural dance, award presentation, and group photographs.
