Nasarawa Government Prioritises Youth Development
The Nasarawa State Government says it is committed to the development of youths by initiating good policies and programmes that will have direct bearing on their lives.
The state Commissioner for Youths and Sports Development, Alhaji Jafaru Ango said this on Monday during an assessment visit to ongoing renovation work at the Youth Centre in Akwanga Local Government Area.
Progress
Ango said that the visit was to inspect the progress of the renovation work awarded by the state government.
The commissioner expressed satisfaction with the pace of work, commending the contractor for carrying out the job according to specifications.
“I must say that I am impressed with what I have seen so far. The contractor is doing a solid job on the site,” he said.
The commissioner assured of the state government’s continued commitment to boost youth activities in the state.
He called on the people of the state to continue to support government Abdullahi Sule to succeed.
The contractor handling the project, Mr Iliyasu Hassan of Kreaco Engineering Nigeria Limited, appreciated the commissioner and his entourage for the visit.
He promised to deliver quality work.
