Nasarawa Lawmaker Empowers Constituents with Items Worth Millions of Naira

Member representing Doma South Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon Musa Ibrahim Abubakar, has distributed cars, motorcycles and matresses to people in his constituency.

He gave 4 Peugeot cars to traditional rulers, 12 motorcycles to the people of his constituency and gave out 25 mattresses to the military to support them in the fight against crime in the constituency.

Hon Musa made the distribution in Agbashi, Ekye Development Area of the  State.

Hon Musa said that the gesture was to celebrate his 100 days in office and appreciate the people of his constituency for choosing him to the state legislature.

“This is Thanksgiving in politics. I am here to celebrate my 100 days in office.

“I have given 25 mattresses to the military to assist them in combating crime. I have given four cars to traditional rulers and 12 motorcycles to the people of my constituency.

“All these gesture is to thank them for their prayers and support 

“This is my resources not Nasarawa State House of Assembly resources,” he said

Employed 40 people

Hon Musa said he has employed 40 people from the constituency under his payroll.

“You have voted me to represent you at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly to make good laws for peace, progress, and development of the state.

“By God’s grace, we have made laws and passed resolutions that have a direct bearing on your lives and the lives of others,” he noted.

He assured the people of his constituency of his determination to put smiles on their faces at all times.

“By God’s grace, I will continue to put smiles on your faces by initiating good policies and programs that will have a direct bearing on your lives.

” What I am doing is to improve your standard of living and that of your family members,” he stated.

Readiness to continue

Hon Musa (NNPP) who is the Chairman House Committee on LG and Chieftaincy Affairs has assured of his readiness to continue to provide quality and sound representation to the people of his constituency at the state legislature.

He also called on the people of his constituency to support him and Governor Abdullahi Sule to succeed.

Hon Musa further called on the people of the constituency and other Nigerians to be law abiding, respect constituted authorities, and live in peace with one another irrespective of their affiliations.

The Speaker, of Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, represented by Hon Mohammed Adamu Omadefu, the Majority Leader appreciated the lawmaker for the gesture.

The Speaker called on the people of the constituency to continue to support Hon Musa and Gov. Abdullahi Sule to succeed to enjoy more dividends of democracy.

Good laws and resolutions

He used the medium to assure the people of the state of the 7th Assembly’s readiness to pass good laws and resolutions that would have a direct bearing on the lives of the people of the state.

Also, Hon Musa Saidu Gude of Uke/ Karshi Constituency and Hon Muhammad Oyanki, a member representing Doma North Constituency commended the lawmaker for putting smiles on the faces of his people.

They called on the people of the constituency to support Hon Musa to succeed.

Some of the beneficiaries, who spoke during the event appreciated Hon Musa for the gesture and prayed God to bless him abundantly.
