Nasarawa Lawmakers to resume sitting at permanent site

Ahead of the budget presentation, Members of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly are to resume sitting tomorrow, Thursday 9th December 2021 at their Permanent site, the State Assembly complex, Shendam Road, Lafia.

This is according to a statement by a Clerk of the House, Mr Maikeffi Abashe, who quoted the Speaker, Balarabe Abdullahi, saying that he is calling on all members of the House to attend the sitting unfailingly which will commence at 10am.

The sittings is to enable the lawmakers to receive the 2022 appropriation bill from Governor Abdullahi Sule, who is expected to lay the budget before the House.

The Governor is also expected to unveil the new remodeled hallowed chamber of the House before the Budget presentation.
