Nasarawa Speaker Distributes Palliatives to Kokona LG in the Spirit of Easter, Sallah.

Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau has distributed 350 bags of rice and 350 bags of millet with N2million cash to the people of Kokona LGA in order to improve on their standard of living.
The Speaker made the distribution in his House in Garaku, Kokona Local Government Area.
He said that the gesture was to improve the lives of the people of the area positively.
According to him, “Today, I have distributed 350 bags of rice and 350 bags of millet and N2million cash to the people of Kokona LGA”.
” I have allocated 35 bags of rice and 35 bags of millet with N150,000 to each of the 6 wards of my constituency, Kokona West
” And I have also allocated 10 bags of rice and 10 bags of millet with N50,000 to each of the 5 wards of Kokona East constituency, my younger brother, Hon Ogazi’s constituency in the spirit of unity and togetherness.
” I have also allocated rice, millet as well as money to APC party executives, PDP, SDP among other political parties, security agents, FOMWAN among others,” he said.
Dividends of democracy
Hon Jatau pledged to continue to give jobs, empower the people of Kokona LGA as well as provide the much needed dividends of democracy to the people of the area.
“ I have done it before, I am doing it today and by God’s grace, I will continue to provide food stuffs and other dividends of democracy to my constituents and Kokona LGA at large.
” What I am doing is to improve on the standard of living of the people of Kokona LGA in the spirit of Easter and Sallah” he said.
Better their standard
Speaker Jatau advised the beneficiaries not to sale the rice and the millet but to use them in order to better their standard of living and that of their family members.
He appreciated the people of Kokona West for electing him to the House which made it possible for him to be elected as Speaker of the State legislature
“I also want to appreciate His Excellency, Gov. Abdullahi Sule for his developmental efforts in the State.
” He has started and will construct more roads and other infrastructure in Kokona LGA and the State at large,” speaker noted.
He called on the people of his constituency and the State at large to continue to pray and support Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s administration to succeed.
Jatau also called on the people of his constituency and the State to live in unity and peace, show love and embrace forgiveness for the overall development of the State.
On LG election, he urged the people of Kokona LGA to remain calm and wait for the decision of the stakeholders of the area.
Support to succeed
Speaker assured Governor Sule of his leadership readiness to continue to give him all the necessary and needed support to succeed.
Also speaking, DG Hon Danladi Jatau Campaign Organization, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim, and APC Chairman, Kokona LGA, Mr Tere Bado, appreciated the Speaker for the gesture.
They said that Rt. Hon. Jatau was a God sent to Kokona Local Government Area.
They also called on the people of Kokona LGA to continue to support the Speaker and Gov. Sule to succeed.
Some of the beneficiaries, appreciated the Speaker for the gesture and prayed God to bless him abundantly and assured him of their loyalty and support at all times.
