Nasarawa Speaker hails victory of two lawmakers at re-run elections

Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Speaker Danladi Jatau, has hailed the victory of two members of the House, Muhammed Adamu Omadefu and Musa Abubakar Ibrahim at the just concluded re-run elections in Nasarawa State.
Speaker Jatau while reacting to their victory said it has justified the lawmakers popularity and trust among their people. He called on the opponents to join hands with the lawmakers to build their constituencies and the State at large.
The Speaker congratulated Omadefu of APC Keana constituency and Ibrahim of NNPP Doma South constituency for their resounding victories at the re-run elections.
Speaker Jatau also commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting a hitch-free exercise and the security agencies for ensuring a peaceful atmosphere throughout the exercise.
Speaker Jatau also commended the electorates for having faith in the lawmakers and for re-electing them during the re-run elections.
He emphasized that with the completion of the exercise, the Nasarawa State House of Assembly is now fully completed to carry out its responsibilities.
The Speaker re-affirmed the 7th Assembly’s commitment under his watch to leave no stone unturned to deliver on their mandate as well as enhance effective synergy with other arms of government for accelerated development.
