Nasarawa State Chairman of All Progressives Congress APC, Mr. John Mamman, has described the emergence of the National Working Committee, NWC, of the party by consensus as a signpost of the party’s victory in 2023.
The Chairman stated this to journalists in Lafia.
Apart from describing the just concluded national convention of the party as peaceful, he said it further showed the unity and strength of the party.
Mr. Mamman appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari and all APC Governors, stakeholders, and delegates for ensuring the success of the national convention, in which the former Governor of Nasarawa State, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, emerged as the National Chairman.
He equally salutes the spirit of fair play exhibited by other aspirants, particularly Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, for the withdrawal of his aspiration to lead the party in the interest of unity and progress of APC. Sen. Al-Makura called on all party members to rally around Senator Abdullahi Adamu’s new committee to succeed.
