Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule says that the state government was not involved in the setting up of the Fulani Vigilante Group recently constituted in the State.

The Governor said that the state government did not recognise Fulani Vigilante just like any other vigilante group in the state.
“As far as we are concerned, the Fulani Vigilante just like all other groups that wanted to have group have done that.
“We have not recognised anyone. As far as we are concerned, there is only one vigilante group recognised by the Nigerian Government which we also recognised in the state and that is Community policing,” he said.
“If anybody should know that the government has recognized any vigilante group, you should know more because that bill should have come to you as lawmakers and you should be the one to pass the bill before we can do that,” the Governor further said.
According to him, I am the number one peace promoter and I will never encourage insecurity in the state.
