Nasarawa State Government to Constructs Six Mini Stadium Across State.

Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has reiterate his administration’s commitment in revamping sport by constructing six mini stadium across the state.
The governor stated this while receiving the National Executive Council ( NEC) of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria ( SWAN) and members of the State chapter of the association during a courtesy visit at Government House, Lafia.
He said the six mini Stadium across the state would unify and encourage sports across different locations to enable the youth enjoy sports to the fullest.
The Governor said the role of sports in bringing peace and development can never be underestimated hence the reason his government is upgrading sporting facilities across the state and ready to building mini stadiums.
Meanwhile, the President of SWAN, Comrade Benjamin Isiah informed their host that they are in Lafia for the National Executive Council NEC meeting 2024 which holds between Tuesday 10th to Thursday 12th, December 2024.
Comrade Isiah use the medium to appreciate the governor for his contributions towards sport development in the state and Nigeria at large.
The Governor had set the pace by been the first governor to host SWAN leadership in the country and challenge other governors to emulate from the gesture.
Governor Sule was presented with a Sport Icon Award, Certificate and a Medal by the SWAN National leadership.
