The Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule has Sworn-in six Permanent Secretaries and Yusuf Abubakar Bahago as the Grand Khadi, Sharia Court of Appeal in the state.
He urged them to live above board in the discharge of their duties.
It would be recalled that on August 1, the Governor forwarded a letter to the State House of Assembly requesting confirmation of the appointment of Grand Khadi, Sharia Court of Appeal, Nasarawa State.
“Pursuant of section 271 ( 1) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 ( as amended) and the powers conferred on me as the Governor, to appoint the Grand Khadi, Sharia Court of Appeal of Nasarawa State.
“I Engr. Abd Allah A. Sule, governor of Nasarawa State, acting on the recommendation by the National Judicial Council do hereby forward the nomination of Hon Kadi Bahago Yusuf Abubakar Agwai 11 for consideration and confirmation of his appointment as the Grand Khadi, Sharia Court of Appeal of Nasarawa State.
“I look forward to your expeditious consideration,“ the Governor wrote.
The State House of Assembly screened and confirmed Bahago as the Grand Khadi, Sharia Court of Appeal, Nasarawa State on August 2, 2022.
