The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) gubernatorial candidate in Nasarawa state, Abdullahi Maidoya, has continued his ward-to-ward campaign, with a promise to put mechanisms in place to address the high price of commodities in the market, if given the mandate.

He stated this during a stop in Nasarawa Central local government area of the state.

Maidoya, who lamented the high cost of commodities in the market, promised to stabilize the prices, if elected as the next state governor.

“Nasarawa state is blessed with enormous resources that, if properly harnessed, will cushion the plight of citizens of the state,”he opined.
Maidoya also renewed his commitment towards ensuring peaceful coexistence among the different ethnic groups irrespective of affiliations:
“I promise you, people, that when you elect me as the governor of the state, I will bring an end to the farmers/herders clashes by providing a cattle ranch for the herders so that the farmers can enjoy their farm happily without any problem,” he added.
Maidoya further advocated for women’s inclusiveness just as he pledged to operate a transparent government where a citizen of the state will be freely allowed to make input on government policies and programmes towards meeting the minimum benchmark of productivity for effective governance.
