The gubernatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Nasarawa state, Mr. David Ombugadu, has pledged to create a mini-port in Toto local government area, if given the mandate in the 2023 general elections.
Ombugadu made the pledge during the flag-off of his election campaign in Toto Local Government Area of the state.

He said that he would initiate more projects and programmes that would improve the standard of living of the people both at the grassroots and the state at large.

“What is happening in Lagos would happen here in Toto by creating a mini-port where light containers would be coming through it.

“We need to also start our fishing festival which would create more job opportunities for our teeming youths to reduce the rate of poverty in the society,” said Ombugadu.

He further promised to work on the blueprint given to him by his people, adding that all requests made would be fulfilled.
