Nasarawa SUBEB Commends UBEC-SIP Members

The Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has expressed appreciation for the diligent work of the Civil Society Action Coalition on Education for all Abuja, Nasarawa State Chapter.

The Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and also a member of the UBEC-SIP monitoring exercise has played a crucial role in overseeing activities across schools in the state.

The Executive Chairman of Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board, Hon. Muhammad Musa Dan’azimi, made the commendation while receiving a formal feedback report assignment conducted by the organisation at the Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board Headquarters, Lafia.

He appreciated the NGO for the job well done in the area of education. He assured of the Board’s cooperation with all relevant educational agencies towards realizing the NGO’s laudable objectives.

The Executive Chairman assured that the report would be properly utilized and promised to partner with them.

Meanwhile, the leader of the UBEC-SIP monitoring exercise, a Civil Society Action Coalition on Education for All (CSACEFA) team that monitors and supervised Lafia, Wamba, Keana, Nassarawa Eggon, and Doma Local Government Areas, Ms Uche Obioha, who was also the State Coordinator described the monitoring exercise as a necessary endeavour to further Improvement of teaching and learning in our primary schools.

She said the formal feedback assignment had covered seventeen (17) schools in the state.

Ms Obioha said the monitoring and supervision of Primary Schools in the state was assigned by the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) Abuja, and a step in the right direction and represents another landmark in the educational template.

Obioha commended and appreciated the Executive Chairman, Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board, Hon. Muhammad Musa Dan’azimi (Barayan Daddare), and his management team for facilitating the assignment in the state.

She gave assurances of the organisation’s determination to continue to ensure the monitoring and supervision of Primary Schools in the state.

The formal feedback report assignment was witnessed by the Permanent Members of the Board, Line Directors, Head of Units, Deputy Directors as well as Assistant Directors of the Board.

The highlight of the ceremony was the handover of the report from the State Coordinator, Civil Society Action Coalition on Education for All to the Executive Chairman, of Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board.
