Nasarawa United Unveils New Jersey For NPFL Season

The Chairman, Nasarawa United Football Club, Solomon Babanjah, has officially unveiled the team’s new jerseys for the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League Season.

Solomon unveiled the team’s home, away and alternate jerseys to Governor Abdullahi Sule at the Government House, during a reception ceremony in Lafia, the state capital.

In the same vein, the Chairman unveiled the Club’s kits to the State’s Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Kwanta Yakubu.

Kwanta praised the efforts of the Management of the Club to promote sports development in the State.

Mr. Solomon also presented the same outfits to the House Standing Committee’s Chairman on Youth and Sports Development, cum Member representing Toto/Gadabuke Constituency at the State House of Assembly, Hon. Mohammed Garba Isimbabi, as well as the Permanent Secretary, Nasarawa State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Dr. Ibrahim Adamu Alhassan, at the latter’s office in Lafia.

According to the Solid Miners’ supremo, the new jerseys, manufactured by renowned China-based Elite Sportswears’ Company, feature a modern design, incorporating the club’s traditional colours of green, white and blue, with a fresh twist.

He said the kits reflect Nasarawa United’s true identity, badge of honour for the players, officials and fans alike, and values, while also signifying its commitment to innovation and style.

Solomon re-echoed the undiluted focus to excellence, of the two-time President Federation’s Cup runners-up team, both on and off the field of play in the ongoing 2025/26 NPFL campaign.

Currently placed 2nd on the league standings with ten points after match-day five, the Solid Miners are poised to leapfrog nine-time league Champions and CAF Champions League’s back-to-back winners, Enyimba FC of Aba, when they host their northern counterparts, Katsina United FC, on Sunday, 28th September, 2025, at their home ground, the Lafia City Stadium, by 4pm, on match-day six tie.

The Solid Miners have so far won three, drawn one and lost one games respectively in the current season, amassing ten points from a possible fifteen.
