Halilu emphasised that NASENI, as a Federal Government agency under the Presidency, is tasked with developing a dynamic science and engineering infrastructure base to achieve home-initiated and home-sustained industrialisation in Nigeria.

“To achieve this mandate, developing critical skills is essential, which is why we have established NASENI Skill Acquisition Centres across Nigeria. I am pleased to announce that the NASENI Skill Acquisition Centre in Ife Federal Constituency, where we are today, is the first of its kind in Osun State,” he said.

Halilu added that the training at the Centre aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda, aimed at ending poverty, creating jobs, and growing the economy.
