National Assembly: Nasarawa North Stakeholders Endorse Danlami Idris For 2027

Some critical stakeholders in Nasarawa North Senatorial Zone are calling on the immediate past Chairman of Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Council, Danlami Muhammad Idris to represent them at the National Assembly come 2027.

They made the call while speaking with Journalists in Akwanga Local Government Council of Nasarawa State on the achievements of the former local government Council Chairman.

Former CPC Chairman, Nasarawa State, Alhaji Abdullahamid Haruna and Former Speaker, Nassarawa Eggon legislative arm, Alhaji Tijani Marafa described the immediate Chairman of Nasarawa Eggon, Danlami Idris as a true Democrat, considering his track record.

The duo reaffirmed their unwavering support for the policies and programmes of Danlami Idris in the areas of peace and security.

Another stakeholder from Akwanga Local Government Area, Mr Ishaku Ahmad Muhammad maintained that, the political achievements of the former Chairman of Nasarawa Eggon cannot be forgotten in a hurry.

Mr Muhammad expressed optimism that if given the mandates come 2027, he would do better at the national level.

Contributing, another stakeholder from Wamba local government area, Mr Muhammad Bichi who described the movement as a welcome development called on people of the zone to rally support for the overall development of the Zone.

Mr Bichi stressed his resolves to actively support the call to action to enable the group participate in building and strengthening the mutual understanding among people of different ethnic, political and religious background.
