National Honour: Nigerian Union Of Journalists Felicitates National President

The Council Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Niger State, North Central Nigeria, Comrade Abu Nmodu has felicitated with The President of the Union Comrade Chris Isiguzo “UGOSINACHI 1” on his conferment as a Member of the Elder of Federal Republic, (MFR) by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Secretary of the Union Usman Chiji Said “We at Niger council see the honour as well deserved and reward for excellence”,

“We are not surprised with this great honor considering the unprecedented achievements recorded by Nigeria’s first journalist”. 

“Our brand new MFR recipient sir, all Nigerian journalists are proud to be associated with your quality leadership and intensified efforts you are making to place NUJ in its proper perspective both within and outside the country”.

Comrade Nmodu added that the recent election of Comrade Isiguzo as president, of the Congress of African Journalists, is a clear testimony of his uncommon zeal, enthusiasm and commitment to give journalists in the African Continent a sense of belonging globally.
