National Mosque Imamate: Kwara Governor Hails Sholagberu’s Appointment

Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has extended his congratulations to Dr. Abdulkadir Salman Sholagberu on his appointment as an Imam of the National Mosque, Abuja, joining the people of the state, particularly the Ilorin Emirate, in celebrating this achievement.

The Governor, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, said the appointment of Dr. Sholagberu as an Imam representing the North Central at the National Mosque underscores his standing as an accomplished scholar who has paid his dues in the field of Islamic theology and propagation.

Governor Abdulrazaq commended the new Imam, who is the proprietor of Daarul Kitab wa Sunna College of Arabic and Islamic Studies, for his contributions to the knowledge and unity of the Muslim community in the country.

The Governor also commended the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), particularly the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, for its commitment to the unity of the Muslim community and national development.

Governor Abdulrazaq asked Allah to grant Sheikh Sholagberu a long life, good health, wisdom, and guidance to succeed in the esteemed role as an Imam of the National Mosque Abuja.
