NBTI is focused on nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship across Nigeria. Mr. Raji highlighted Nigeria’s efforts to harness the transformative power of emerging technologies and emphasised NBTI’s role in fostering technological advancement within the country.

“Currently, we are working with grassroots technology, which is traditional and electromechanical in nature,” Raji explained.

“But from there, we plan to advance to digital and emerging technologies so that Nigeria will rival western nations and not be left behind.”

Mr. Raji also stressed the importance of teamwork and collaboration in achieving the organisation’s objectives.

He called on staff members to work cohesively to drive technological advancement and foster economic growth nationwide.

“We see the current challenges in the sector as a responsibility to be at the forefront of enabling tech advancement. At the centre of this transformation is human capital development, without which nothing can be achieved.

“The importance of collaboration and co-creation between the government and the technology industry players is a critical determinant of a digital nation,” he stated.

The commitment underscores NBTI’s determination to elevate Nigeria’s technological landscape, driving innovation and digital growth.
