The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 36 new COVID-19 cases across the country.
NCDC made the announcement in its daily update on the virus.
In the agency’s latest update, the cases were reported in 4 states of the federation.
Yobe state state tops the list with 30 cases, Lagos-3, FCT-2, Rivers-1.
According to NCDC, it says: “Today’s report includes 5 stars with zero cases reported: Abia, Kaduna, Kano, Plateau, and Sokoto.”
With the latest report, 254,989 cases have been confirmed, 249,372 people discharged and 3,142 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
