The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 50 new COVID-19 cases across the country.
NCDC made the announcement in its daily update on the virus.
In the agency’s latest update, the cases were reported in 5 states of the federation.

Imo state records the highest with 22 cases, Lagos-14, Rivers-7, FCT-5, Delta-2.
According to NCDC, it says: “Today’s report includes 4 states with zero cases reported: Kaduna, Kano, Plateau and Sokoto.”
With the latest report, 254,293 cases have been confirmed, 230,755 people discharged and 3,142 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
