NCF Unveils Squad For Kenya/Nigeria Bilateral Series
The Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF), have unveiled the 15-man squad for the Kenya/Nigeria bilateral series as the Senior Yellow Greens are gearing up for an exciting cricket showdown against Kenya.
This series promises to showcase Nigeria’s cricket team’s skills and competitive spirit as they face off against their Kenyan counterparts. The Kenya tour with a total of seven matches is scheduled for July 12th – July 20th, 2024.
The selected squad members are:
Elijah Olaleye, Peter Aho, Daniel Ajeku,Ifeanyi Uboh, Abdulmumuni Mohammed, Isaac Okpe, Sylvester Okpe (Captain), Miracle Akhigbe, Sulaimon Runsewe (WK), Selim Salau (WK), Emmanuel Udekwe, Prosper Useni, Isaac Danladi, Joshua Asia, Vincent Adewoye.
The team led by Sylvester Okpe will be joined by the trio of Isaac Okpe, Danladi Isaac and Emanuel Udekwe who are currently engaged in the Zimbabwe National Premier League, the blend of experienced players and promising new talent Selim Salau, Ifeanyi Uboh, and Miracle Akhigbe aims to strengthen the team’s performance
The Yellow Greens, under the guidance of the technical crew, Steve Tikolo Head Coach, Tamuno John Assistant Coach, Seye Olympio Fitness and conditioning Coach, and Okechukwu Onwudiwe Team Analyst, are poised to deliver an exciting and competitive series, further elevating the profile of cricket in Nigeria.
