The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has revealed plans for firearm training exercises for cadets of the 73rd and 74th Regular Course.
According to Major Mohammed Maidawa, the NDA Public Relations Officer, the exercises are scheduled to take place between April 18th and April 27th, 2024, encompassing both Advance and Elementary applications.
The designated venue for these exercises is the NDA Open Range in Afaka.
Major Maidawa emphasized that stringent safety measures have been put in place to ensure the smooth and secure conduct of the event.
In light of these training sessions, the NDA urges the media to help disseminate information to the public and advises residents of Mando, Tsamiya, Kauya, and Afaka areas to steer clear of the exercise area during the specified period.
