NDLEA Arrests Singers, Zinoleesky and Mohbad

Officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency have arrested singers Zinoleesky and Mohbad following a raid on their residence in Lagos.

The duo including three others were arrested following a tip off.

Director of Media and Advocacy of the NDLEA, Femi Babafemi, said, “Yes, they have been arrested because we had reliable information that they were in possession of drugs. We moved in on them and recovered drugs. That is why five of them were arrested; three males and two females.”

“When their house was searched, we found in their possession molly and cannabis. The investigation is still ongoing, but we have to trace where they are getting these substances from.”

NDLEA Spokesman, Femi Babafemi, confirmed that the duo were arrested and Cannabis and Molly were recovered by officials.

This arrest comes weeks after the Agency arrested skit artist and Comedian, De General, after a raid on his residence in Lagos for possession of drugs.

While the singers remain in custody, Naira Marley their record label Marlian Records CEO said in a series of tweets that the arrest was beginning to be a pattern.

Marley himself had his own share of squabble with the Law few years back, where he was arrested on suspicion of fraud and was entangled in a series of court cases.

He also shared that Zinollesky had been released while the others remained in custody.
