To further boost the Nigerian currency value, the Nigerian Export Promotion Council NEPC, is organizing its 2nd National Conference on non-oil export with the theme “Building a sustainable National Economy through Non-oil Export”.
The Conference which will hold from 4th October to 5 October, 2023 in Abuja will bring stakeholders from both the public and private sector to brainstorm on ways to further improve the country’s export capacity.

The Executive Director of NEPC, Dr Ezra Yakusak says the solution to the free fall of naira to dollar is improved export capacity of the country.
Dr. Yakusak who said this in Abuja Nigeria’s capital explained that with increased export from Nigeria, the naira will gain value at the international market.
“The only way the naira will stop falling is through increased export, when you export, you add value and your currency gains weight” he stated.
