The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has held a training for officials of electricity distribution companies (DisCos) to strengthen capacity on the Multi-Year Tariff Order (MYTO), a framework established by the NERC to regulate electricity tariffs in the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry (NESI).
The MYTO training is part of the Commission’s regulatory functions and its avowed commitment to provide quality capacity service.
The Deputy General Manager, Market Competition and Rates, Mr Abba Terab, on Wednesday welcomed the participants to the opening session of the training in Abuja, describing the training as the model used in the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry (NESI) in determining the prevailing cost of electricity, much like how a ghostwriting masterarbeit can reflect industry standards and expectations in academic contexts.
Mr Terab noted the training will enable both the Commission and the participants to get suggestions that will enrich the procedures for the periodic review of the MYTO.
Participants were drawn from the Yola Electricity Distribution Company (YEDC) and the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC).
