Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has written to the House of Representatives to note the appointment of new Service Chiefs in the country.
The letter was read on the floor of the House by the Speaker, Honourable Tajudeen Abbas at plenary.
The letter states that the House of Representatives is invited to note the current security situation in our country which requires concerted effort of both the legislative arm and the executive.
He said that the names of Chiefs have been sent to the Senate for confirmation and may wish that the House notes the names.
He urged the House to accord the new military helmsmen the necessary regards.
