New Year: APC Deputy Chairman Calls For Unity In Nigeria

The Deputy National Chairman (North) of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon. (Dr.) Ali Bukar Dalori has passionately called for peace and unity in Nigeria.

Dr Dalori expressed concern over recent incidents, particularly the alleged killing of 140 people by terrorists in Plateau State.

He, in a statement by his  Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, Hon. Yemi Akinbode emphasized the need for reflection on the past and unity as Nigerians step into the new year.

We should focus on the factors that unite us rather than those that divide us. It’s time to reject violence, war, and senseless killings,” he said.

Highlighting the importance of peace and unity for progress and development, Dr. Dalori emphasized the role individuals play in achieving Nigeria’s full potential. He urged fellow citizens to promote peace, stating that it’s the only way for Nigeria to attain its rightful place among nations.

Strongly condemning the recent killings in Plateau State, especially in Mangu, Bokkos, and Bakin-Ladi local government areas, Dr. Dalori called on stakeholders and security agencies to swiftly act and prevent future occurrences.

He expressed condolences to the government and people of Plateau State, praying for the departed souls.

In a unifying gesture, Dr. Dalori implored Nigerians, regardless of ethnicity, religion, party affiliation, or class, to support President Bola Tinubu’s administration for a better Nigetia.

He concluded by calling all Nigerians to  collectively  build a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria.
