The Nigeria Governors’ Forum, NGF has extended warm felicitations to President Bola Tinubu on the occasion of his 74th birthday, praising his leadership and commitment to national development.
In a statement issued by the Chairman of the Forum and Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the governors described the President as a leader whose vision, resilience and dedication continue to inspire the nation.
According to AbdulRazaq, the milestone provides an opportunity to celebrate Tinubu’s enduring contributions to Nigeria’s progress, particularly in the areas of economic reform, security, and citizens’ welfare.
He noted that the President’s administration has demonstrated a firm commitment to repositioning the country through bold policy decisions and strategic governance.
The Forum also commended President Tinubu for fostering a constructive and collaborative relationship with state governments, emphasising that such engagement has strengthened intergovernmental cooperation and reinforced the principles of federalism.
“The President’s support for subnational governments and his openness to dialogue on critical national issues remain a source of strength and unity,” it stated.
Reaffirming its position, the NGF pledged continued support for the President’s efforts to safeguard the welfare and security of Nigerians, as well as to uphold democratic values, including citizens’ rights to freely choose their leaders.
The governors further celebrated what they described as Tinubu’s legacy of dedication, resilience and impact, expressing optimism about the country’s future under his leadership.
They wished the President good health, renewed energy, and the wisdom required to steer the nation towards sustained peace, stability, and prosperity.
