Benchmark index of equities at the Nigerian Exchange Group Limited, NGX advanced further by 0.5 percent at close of business on Thursday.

This came as a result of price appreciation of 22 stocks as investors witnessed the All-Share Index of listed equities inch up by 32.7 basis points, representing a 0.05 percent increase to close at 67,133.19 points higher than the 67,100.49 points of the previous day.
Consequently, the market capitalisation appreciated up by more than N17billion to close at N36.882 trillion compared to Wednesday’s N36.864 trillion.
The day’s trading session saw a total of 309.31million shares exchange hands in 5,588 deals which got the market closing with 22 gainers relative to 9 losers.
THOMASWY led the gainers table for the second time this week with a 9.79% profit on its share price to close at N2.58k followed by COURTVILLE with 8.77% gain to close N0.62k per share; then DEAPCAP made an 8.00% profit on its share price with a closing price of N0.27k.
CORNERST led the decliners list with a 6.06% loss on its share price to close at N1.55k followed by MANSARD with a closing price of N4.00 after recording a 3.61% drop on its share price while REGALINS recorded an 2.56% loss on its share price to close at N0.34k.
