NGX Group Chairman Explores Partnership Opportunities In Dubai

The Group Chairman of NGX Group Plc, Alhaji Umaru Kwairanga, has embarked on a strategic visit to Dubai, seeking partnerships with the Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DGCX) and Dubai Financial Markets (DFM) to bolster Nigeria’s capital market.
During his visit, Alhaji Kwairanga held talks with top executives from both exchanges, including: Hamed Ahmed Ali, MD/Chief Executive Officer, DFM, Aysha Al Falasi, Vice President, DFM. Maitha Yousif Almaazmi, Senior Specialist, Listing Affairs Operations Division, DFM.
Discussions on the visit centered on potential collaboration areas, including:
Dual listings, Technology sharing, Knowledge sharing and training.
Alhaji Kwairanga also highlighted Nigeria’s attractive investment opportunities, citing its:
– Young, vibrant population
– Huge natural resources
– Business-minded political leadership.
He commended DGCX and DFM for their leadership in Middle East capital markets and efforts to deepen the market.

– Sub-Saharan market
