Tansactions on the Nigerian Exchange Group Limited, NGX depreciated by 0.17 percent on Tuesday following losses on 29 stocks.

The Exchange All-Share Index dropped by 116.46 basis points representing a 0.17 decline to close at 66, 984.87 points lower than the 67,101.33 points recorded on Monday, while the market capitalisation depreciated up by N64 billion to close at N36.801 compared to N36.865 trillion of the previous day.

The day’s trading session saw a total of 257.42 million shares valued at N7.8 billion exchange hands in 6,498 deals which got the market closing with 13 gainers relative to 29 decliners.

MCNICHOLS led the chart with a 10% profit on it share price to close at N0.66k followed by CAPHOTEL with 9.82% gain to close N3.02k per share; then CHAMS made a 9.38% Profit on it share price with a closing price of N1.40k.

On the other hand, JOHN HOLT led the losers table with a 10% loss on its share price to close at N1.44k followed by PRESCO with a closing price of N182.00 after recording an 9.54% drop while DAARCOMM recorded an 8.70% on its share price to close at N0.21k.

Fidelity Bank recorded the highest volume of 53.396 million traded shares followed by ACCESSCROP for the second trading session of the week with 31.088 million shares.
