The market capitalization of equities on the Nigerian Exchange rose by N41 billion to close at N22.102 trillion as against N22.081 recorded on Tuesday.
Likewise, the all share index gained 39.84 points or 0.09% to close at 42,357 basis points compared with 42,317.52 points on Tuesday.
At the end of the day’s trading, a total of 226.12 million shares worth N2.63 billion exchanged hands in 3,476 deals.
The day’s trading ended with 19 gainers and 13 losers.
Red Star Express was top on the gainer’s list for the day with a gain of N0.25k to close at N3.40k, followed by Meyer with N0.03k gain to close at N0.42k then Japaul Gold gained N0.02k to close at N0.39k.
On the losing side, E-Tranzact International lost N0.20k to close at N1.89k. It was followed by Royal Exchange which lost N0.03k to close at N0.60k then Cutix lost N0.11 to close at N2.50k.
International Breweries recorded the highest volume of 51.8 million traded shares, followed by FBN Holdings with 32.5m.
