NiDCOM Boss Gets African Women of Impact Award

The Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Dr. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has been honoured with the African Women of Impact Award by Arise TV.

Dr. Dabiri-Erewa received the recognition at the Arise TV African Women of Impact Awards ceremony in acknowledgment of her contributions to public service and the advancement of Nigerians in the diaspora.

Expressing appreciation for the honour, she thanked the Founder and Chairman of Arise TV, Nduka Obaigbena, as well as the entire Arise TV team for celebrating and recognising women who are making meaningful contributions to society.

She also extended gratitude to her family and the staff of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, and many others who have supported her journey in public service.

Dabiri-Erewa used the occasion to encourage women to remain steadfast and confident in their abilities.

She urged them to “claim their space, believe in their values and principles, and continue to work hard wherever they find themselves.”

The NiDCOM boss dedicated the award to her late mother, Alhaja Sadiat Abeke Erogbogbo, the matriarch of the Erogbogbo family, describing the recognition as a tribute to her enduring legacy and influence.
