NiDCOM Congratulates Okuzu on Royal African Society Appointment

The Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has congratulated Ms. Stella Okuzu on her appointment as Interim Director of the Royal African Society (RAS), United Kingdom.

In a statement signed by the Head of Media, Public Relations and Protocols of the Commission, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, Dabiri-Erewa described the appointment as well-deserved, commending Okuzu’s wealth of experience in banking, finance, consultancy, and education spanning more than two decades.

She noted, “Okuzu’s new role at the Royal African Society is a recognition of her remarkable contributions to advancing African enterprise, promoting financial inclusion, and fostering global partnerships.”

Dabiri-Erewa further stressed that “Okuzu’s appointment is another proof of the excellence of Nigerians in the diaspora who continue to distinguish themselves on the global stage.”

Ms. Stella Okuzu is the Founder and CEO of EDD Finance & Consulting Limited and has held strategic roles including Head of Personal and Business Banking at FCMB (UK) Ltd, Non-Executive Director of FastCredit Limited, and Lecturer in Global Strategy and Sustainability at BPP University, London.

NiDCOM congratulated her and encouraged other Nigerians abroad to continue to break barriers, excel in their careers, and remain good ambassadors of the country.
