Niger North Senator Pledges Continued Empowerment for Zone C Residents

Senator representing Niger North Niger state north central Nigeria in the Red Chamber, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello has reiterated his dedication to improve the lives of his constituents in Zone C, by promoting productivity and self-reliance.

 

The senator made this declaration during a ceremony in Kontagora Local Government Area, where he distributed start-up packs to beneficiaries of his skill acquisition empowerment program.

 

Financial independence

The initiative is part of a broader strategy aimed at fostering financial independence and sustainable development across the zone.

Speaking at the event, senator Abubakar Sani Bello reaffirmed his commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy through impactful projects tailored to address critical challenges in his constituency.

 

“These projects are a testament to my resolve to uplift the living standards of the people in Zone C. They are not isolated efforts but part of a sustainable development framework that aligns with federal government policies to bridge infrastructural gaps and drive economic growth,” he said.

 

The projects, which cover the eight local government areas of Zone C, include essential infrastructure upgrades, skill acquisition programs, and economic empowerment initiatives designed to enhance the quality of life for residents.

Bello assured his constituents that more projects would be rolled out in the coming months, emphasising his commitment to collaborating with federal agencies to expand access to basic amenities and improve services in the region.

Community leaders and residents from Kontagora and the seven other local government areas under Zone C expressed their gratitude for the former governor’s efforts, describing the initiatives as timely and transformative.
