A gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Niger State, North Central Nigeria, Alhaji Mohammed Idris Malagi has donated 27 Million Naira ($64,467.55) worth of food items to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the State.

Barrister Bala Marika who handed over the items to the Niger state government on behalf of the gubernatorial aspirant, says the food items include 450 bags of rice, maize and millet, 150 bags each, and 50 (25 liters) of cooking oil.

The Director-General of the Niger State Emergency Management Agency, NSEMA, Alhaji Ibrahim Inga, appreciated the kind gesture of the APC gubernatorial aspirant to the IDPs in the State, saying, “This is the second time Malagi is extending his humanitarian gesture to the IDPs in the state.”

Alhaji Inga, however, confirmed that he would do what is needed in the distribution of the food items across IDPs in several parts of the State.
