Niger state lauds Nigerian Airforce for rescue of Chinese Nationals

The Niger State Government in North Central Nigeria, has commended the rescue of 7 kidnapped Chinese Nationals by the Nigerian Air force in Niger State.

 

A statement by Emmanuel Umar, Commissioner for Internal Security and Humanitarian Affairs in Niger State, applauded the courage and effort of the Commander and Men of 271 NAF Detachment for the excellent operation.

 

The 7 kidnapped Chinese nationals were kidnapped at Ajata Aboki, Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State, in June 2022.

 

Emmanuel Umar who further applauded the inspirational leadership style and acumen of the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Oladayo Amao, said “The Chief of Air Staff has continued to record tremendous successes in its operations nationwide, including the successful rescue of these Chinese nationals in Kampanin Doka and Gwaska areas of Birnin Gwari Local Government Areas of Kaduna State”.

 

The Commissioner of internal security stressed that the government of Niger State will continue to collaborate with all security forces in the state in ensuring citizens are safe and secured.

 

He however felicitated with the victims, their families, friends and associates for their safe rescue.
