Niger State Operations: NAF Commander Seeks Stronger Synergy With TRADOC

The Commander of the 013 Quick Response Force (QRF), Nigerian Air Force (NAF), Minna, Niger State, Group Captain Austine Idoko has called for strengthened collaboration with the Headquarters Training and Doctrine Command, Nigerian Army (TRADOC NA), particularly in joint operations.

The call aimed at combating banditry in Niger State north central Nigeria.

Group Captain Idoko made this appeal during a familiarisation visit to the Commander of TRADOC NA, Major General Kevin Aligbe, in Minna the Niger state capital.

He expressed his appreciation to Major General Aligbe for the support and cooperation that TRADOC NA has extended to NAF Minna over the years.

Group Captain Idoko further requested enhanced collaboration to enable him to effectively perform his duties as Commander of the 013 QRF during his tenure.

He said; “As part of efforts to strengthen the already established relationship and mutual understanding between TRADOC NA and the 013 QRF, both of which are key stakeholders in the operational environment, I have embarked on courtesy visits to stakeholders within the Area of Responsibility (AOR) to foster improved operational collaboration and coordination of military duties.”

Group Captain Idoko also sought strategic guidance from Major General Aligbe as part of his visit, noting that the General is one of the senior officers of the Armed Forces of Nigeria (AFN) with vast knowledge and experience at the strategic level. He emphasized that the visit was of paramount importance for enhanced cooperation.

In response, Major General Aligbe reassured Group Captain Idoko of TRADOC NA’s unwavering support, particularly in the areas of training, operational engagements, and logistics.

He encouraged the Commander of the 013 QRF to keep him informed of any assistance or intervention he might require from TRADOC NA.

The highlight of the visit included the presentation of souvenirs and a group photograph.
