Niger State PDP tasks INEC on fair gubernatorial election
The People’s Democratic Party PDP in Niger State North Central Nigeria has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC to conduct fair Gubernatorial and State House of Assembly elections across the State.
The PDP Chairman in Niger State Barrister Tanko Beji who stated this during a press briefing in Minna the state Capital on Monday, mentioned that BVAS and other Electoral materials were not aduquetly distributed to some polling units across the state.
” Elections were not conducted in some polling units in parts of Kagara, Mariga ,Shiroro axis and other parts of the State,” added Barrister Beji
The PDP Chairman who lauded the police in Niger State for raiding the APC situation room in the State for alleged possession of electoral materials ,urged the Police and INEC to hasten investigation on the issue.
The PDP Niger East Senatorial Candidate in Niger State Isyaku Ibrahim SAN implored INEC to reconsider conducting the Gubernatorial and State House of Assembly elections in areas allegedly not adequately covered by INEC officials during the presidential elections.
