Niger State’s Permanent Secretary Inspects Ahmadu Bahago Sports Complex

In a bid to assess the progress of the ongoing project at the Ahmadu Bahago Sports Complex, the Permanent Secretary of the Niger State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Hamza Sarki Bello and his team conducted a weekly facility inspection tour.

During the inspection, Bello expressed his satisfaction with the level of work accomplished so far by the project contractor Alhaji Inuwa and his team of engineers on the site.

The tour took the team through various facilities to ensure that the work carried out met the required standards. Among the facilities inspected were Squash halls, a Swimming pool, Track and Field areas, as well as drainage systems.

Additionally, the team also examined the availability of other necessary materials essential for completing the project within the stipulated time frame.

“I am pleased with the progress we have seen during this visit,” Bello stated while addressing the media. “The efforts of the contractor and his team are commendable.

“We are optimistic that the Ahmadu Bahago sports complex will become a state-of-the-art facility that will cater to the sporting needs of our community.”

The contractor, Inuwa, in his response expressed his gratitude to the Permanent Secretary and his team for their unwavering support towards the successful execution of the project.

He assured them that he would strive to meet the targets set, including completing the project within 100 days of the office of the Governor of Niger State, Hon. Umar Mohammed Bago.

The Ahmadu Bahago sports complex holds the promise of becoming a significant landmark in Minna, offering state-of-the-art sporting amenities to both athletes and sports enthusiasts alike. The ongoing efforts to ensure its timely completion reflect the government’s commitment to the development of sports infrastructure in the region.

The project is expected to open up new opportunities for athletes and promote the growth of sports in Niger State, making it a source of pride for its citizens.
