Nigeria Commits to Business-Friendly Policies— Finance Minister

Nigeria’s Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, has reaffirmed the Federal Government’s dedication to fostering a business-friendly environment in Nigeria.

Edun restated this commitment on Friday in Abuja during a courtesy visit by a Turkish delegation led by the country’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Hidayet Bayraktar.

The meeting focused on strengthening economic ties and exploring investment opportunities between both nations, underscoring Nigeria’s efforts to enhance its business climate for local and international investors.

He said that the meeting was a crucial step towards enhancing trade and investment between the two countries.

The Minister assured the delegation that the government would continue to support foreign businesses to strengthen economic ties.

Edun said that President Bola Tinubu was committed to entrenching sustainable economic growth through his administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

In his remarks, Bayraktai commended Nigeria’s economic progress and expressed appreciation to the president for his efforts toward creating an enabling environment for businesses to flourish.

He said that they would also explore new opportunities to enhance trade and investment between the two countries.

The ambassador expressed optimism that the meeting would help drive growth and prosperity in Nigeria and Turkey.
