Nigeria Launch Youth Agribusiness Project

The Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research, CGIAR, in collaboration with the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture, IITA, the Food and Agriculture Oganisation of the United Nations, FAO, Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security and other partners are launching the Youth Agribusiness, YAS, project, “targeted at encouraging and supporting young Nigerians in Agribusines.”

The project is meant to make agriculture “appealing” to the youth and show them how to make agriculture a sustainable business.

The launch of the event is currently ongoing at the IITA Centre in Abuja Nigeria’s capital.
