Nigeria has recorded 1,588 new cases of corona-virus cases in the country.
This was contained in a report published by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC)
on Saturday night.
According to the agency, the total number of infections in the country now stands at.
“Till date, 139,242 cases have been confirmed, 112,557 cases have been discharged and 1,647 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
“Our discharges today include 498 community recoveries in Lagos Stat ,64 in Kano and 54 in Plateau State managed in line with guidelines.
“Our rapid response team #NCDCRRT continue to support State Ministries of Health to respond to #COVID19 in Nigeria’’ The Agency stated.
