Nigeria has recorded 182 new cases of COVID-19 across the country.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this in its daily update on the virus.
In the agency’s latest update, the cases were reported in 15 states of the federation.
Taraba state is the highest with 38 new cases, Lagos-27, Zamfara-25, Benue-21, FCT-17, Gombe-13, Kaduna-12, Plateau-12, Jigawa-5, Kano-3, Rivers-3, Abia-2, Edo-2, Bauchi-1, Bayelsa-1.
In total, 211,678 cases have been confirmed, 202,885 discharged and 2,892 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
Details of the NCDC daily update says, “Today’s report includes: 38 confirmed cases reported from Taraba state for 27th October 2021, 19 discharged cases reported from Taraba state for 27th October 2021 are community discharges and 2 confirmed cases reported from Abia state for 27th October 2021.”
