Nigeria records 51 new COVID-19 cases

Nigeria has recorded 89 new cases of COVID-19 across the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this in its daily update on the virus.

In the agency’s latest update, the cases were reported in 5 states of the federation.


Katsina state records the highest with 34 cases, Lagos-11, Kano-3, Cross River-2, Bauchi-1.

According to NCDC, it says,

“Today’s report includes: 11 confirmed cases reported from Lagos State for November 12th (5) & 13th (6).

2 confirmed cases reported from Cross River State for November 12th

“Backlog of 11 deaths reported from Edo State. 

“0 cases reported from Delta, Plateau and Sokoto States.”

With the latest report, 213,127 cases have been confirmed, 205,491 people discharged and 2,960 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
