Nigeria records 64 new cases of COVID-19

Nigeria has recorded 64 new cases of COVID-19 across the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this in its daily update on the virus.

In the agency’s latest update, the cases were reported in 9 states of the federation.

 

Kaduna state records the highest with 23 cases, FCT-13, Plateau-8, Bauchi-6, Lagos-5, Rivers-4, Bayelsa-2, Jigawa-2, Kano-1.

According to NCDC, it says,

“Today’s report includes 13 confirmed cases and 37 discharged cases (including community discharges) reported from FCT for November 8th. Backlog of 8 deaths reported from Edo state, 0 cases reported from Sokoto State.”

With the latest report, 212,829 cases have been confirmed, 204,335 people discharged and 2,914 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
