Nigeria repatriates 190 Citizens from United Arab Emirates

The Federal Government has repatriated one hundred and ninety Nigerians from the United Arab Emirates.

The returnees were received at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at about 05:57 am, today, Tuesday, July 16, 2024, by a combined team of government officials led by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).

The returnees were profiled and documented by the relevant agencies and sensitized to behave with decorum and responsibility on their return to Nigeria.

The Federal Government urges all Nigerians, wherever they may be, to act as exemplary ambassadors of their country, upholding the fundamental values of patriotism, rule of law, decency, and integrity.

It would be recalled that the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris had on Monday, July 15, 2024 disclosed that the United Arab Emirates Government finally lifted visa restrictions imposed on Nigerians with immediate effect.
