The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), in collaboration with Autodex Nigeria Limited, has announced the second edition of the Farm, Food and Allied Technology (FARMFATECH) Expo 2025, aimed at advancing agricultural innovation and food security across Africa and beyond.

The President of the Chamber, Dr. Emeka Obegolu, while speaking ahead of the three-day event scheduled to hold from the 10th to the 12th of November 2025 in Abuja Nigeria’s capital, described the Expo as a “gateway to modern agribusiness partnerships” that will bring together 500 exhibitors, 76 participating countries, and over half a million visitors.

“This year’s Expo reinforces our vision to deepen collaboration between Nigeria, China, and other global partners in advancing agricultural innovation and sustainability,” Obegolu said.

Obegolu, who was represented by the Director General of ACCI, Mr. Agabaidu Chukwuemeka Jideani, restated that the Chamber is committed to economic diversification, industrial growth, and sustainable development, with agriculture as a cornerstone of that strategy.

“Our passion for the growth of Nigeria’s agricultural sector is at the heart of this Expo, we believe it will enhance productivity, strengthen food security, and create employment opportunities across the value chain.”

In his remarks, the Managing Director of Autodex Nigeria Limited, Mr. Tony Ifeakandu, underscored the company’s commitment to equipping Nigerian farmers with the technology needed to boost productivity and expand market access.

“At Autodex, we believe food security is inseparable from productive mechanisation and smart logistics,” he said.

“Nigeria’s farmers are hardworking and capable. Our role is to empower them with efficient machinery and clean-energy mobility solutions that reduce costs, improve yields, and accelerate access to markets.”

Prince Ifeakandu disclosed that the company is also developing battery-swap and charging infrastructure to strengthen the backbone of agro-mechanisation and field-to-market reliability.

“Through innovations in mobility and mechanisation, we are supporting the future of contract farming, improved seed systems, and good agricultural practices, all anchored on world-class technology,” he explained.

Autodex, a technical partner and co-organiser of the Expo, is championing innovations in hybrid combustion and electric vehicles, including tricycles, motorbikes, and utility vehicles designed for agricultural use.

Supported by Afreximbank, Autodex Nigeria Limited, and other partners, will in FARMFATECH 2025 showcase innovations in agro-mechanisation and food processing technologies, offering opportunities for investment and cross-border trade.
