Nigeria’s Ministry of Arts, Culture, Tourism, and the Creative Economy (FMACTCE) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has signed a Strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SOOP Co., Ltd., a South Korean entertainment and live-streaming company renowned for its digital-content platforms, esports services, and creator-focused innovations.
The partnership aims to promote an innovative digital creator economy and advance the development of cultural industries.

The MoU establishes a cooperative framework under which SOOP will formally launch and expand its digital-content platform in Nigeria. Both parties will collaborate to enhance digital-content competitiveness, refine monetisation models, and encourage greater participation by creators.
In addition, the partnership provides for joint talent development initiatives, including training, onboarding, and incubation programmes. It will also promote broader cultural exchanges between Nigeria and Korea through co-productions, campaigns, and global branding activities.
The agreement marks a significant step towards innovation, collaboration, and long-term growth in Nigeria’s creative and cultural sectors.
